Sale of Vehicles (Karachi)
Allied Bank Limited invites sealed offers/bids for the sale of the following vehicles on “as is where is” basis:
Written offers in sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the “Registration Number of Vehicle” must be dropped in the Tender Box placed at the Reception Area of Allied Bank Limited, Bath Island Building, Opposite PSO House, Clifton Karachi, 26th March, 2019 till 5:30 pm
The bids/offers must be accompanied with PO/DD in favor of Allied Bank Limited, for Rs. 50,000/- being the amount of advance/earnest money, along with a copy of CNIC and contact telephone number of the bidder. Bidder can bid/offer for multiple vehicles by using separate envelops/POs/’DDs for each bid/offer.
The vehicles can be inspected from 24th March, 2019 to 26th March, 2019, between 10:00am to 5:00pm at the parking area, Allied Bank Limited, Bath Island Building, Opposite PSO House, Clifton Karachi
Bidders are requested to check the status of vehicles from all government authorities.
The sealed bids/offers will be opened by the Bank’s Vehicle Disposal Committee on 27th March, 2019. The list of successful bidders will be displayed on the notice board on 27th March, 2019 latest by 4:00pm in the Parking Area as mentioned above address.
The successful bidders will be required to deposit the balance of the offered price within 2 working days, i.e., by 29th March, 2019 after declaration of results failing which, the offer shall be cancelled and the “Advance/Earnest Money” will stand forfeited;
Advance tax shall be collected under section 236A of Income Tax Ordinance 2001 @ 10% and 15% from Filer and Non-Filer respectively of the bid amount, will also be paid by the successful bidder through a separate PO/DD in favor of Allied Bank Limited;
Successful Bidders will be liable to pay all the applicable taxes including transfer fee, etc.
The documents for “Transfer of Ownership” will be issued in the name of the successful bidder only, as per the details of submitted copy of CNIC. The Bank will not entertain any requests for “Open Transfer Letter(s);
The Vehicles and their respective documents shall be handed over to the successful bidder after completion of official formalities within 5 working days i.e. 05th April, 2019.
The un-successful bidders will get their PO’s/DD’s back within 2 working days i.e. by 29th March, 2019 after the declaration of names of the successful bidders.
All the employees of Allied Bank Limited, regular, contract or outsourced (directly or indirectly), shall not be eligible to participate in the bidding.
The Bank reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning any reason(s) thereof.
The Bank will not be responsible for the transportation and or mechanical charges in respect of the disposed/sold vehicles.
