AMENDMENTS IN BUILDING REGULATIONS-2019

ENCOURAGING HIGH RISE DEVELOPMENT

Lahore Development Authority is responsible for establishing a continuous process of planning and development in Lahore. It has to evolve policies, rules and regulations relating to the improvement of the environment.

On account of rapid urbanization and population growth, there is tremendous pressure for provision of urban development. LDA has to ensure optimum utilization of resources and economical and effective use of land. In order to enable Lahore to position itself to meet the challenges of the future in an effective, efficient, equitable and sustainable manner, there is need to encourage vertical development and check horizontal sprawl of the city.

 

Amendments in Building Regulations 2019 LDA Encouraging High Rise Development

Under these circumstances, LDA has prepared draft Building & Zoning Regulations-2019.The detailed document of amendments of building regulations is available at official website of LDA. www.lda.Rpp.pk

All stakeholders, interested persons & general public are invited to submit their written comments/views on these amendments not later than 10 days to the office of Chief Town Planner, LDA Office, 467-D-II, Johar Town, Lahore.
