Attock Petroleum Limited is a leading Oil Marketing Company, listed on PSX, seeking proactive, result-oriented, experienced and high-caliber skilled professional for the following job position:

COMPANY SECRETARY:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Support and facilitate the Company’s Board of Directors in its smooth functioning.

Ensure effective organization of Board Meetings and to ensure that all the applicable rules and regulations are adhered to in these meetings. Organize Annual General Meetings in accordance with applicable laws. Ensure proper recording of the minutes of the proceedings of Board Meetings and Annual General Meetings and subsequent circulation of these minutes to all Directors and keep active follow-ups on implementation of decisions.

Effective communication with shareholders of the Company as and when required.

Ensure compliance with legal regulations of SECP, PSX etc. including timely filing of forms and returns.

Undertake any other task or function as assigned by the CEO and/or Board of Directors.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Must be the member of recognized body of professional accountants

(ACAIACMAIACCA) OR member of a recognized body of corporate or chartered secretaries OR holding a master degree in business administration or commerce OR being a law graduate from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission

Must possess relevant work experience of atleast 5 years in a listed company. Experience in Oil & Gas Sector will be preferred.

Must possess comprehensive knowledge of Companies Act, Stock

Exchange Regulations including Code of Corporate Governance, and other prevalent corporate laws and regulations. Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards will be preferred.

Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and should be able to prepare agenda and other related documentation for Board and Committee meetings and Annual General Meetings.

Must be proficient to use MS Office Software (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
