Procurement Manager responsible for development, implementation and execution of sourcing strategies across Marketing, OPEX and CAPEX categories, while building effective relationships with internal stakeholders and developing the Procurement function’s credibility in Pakistan & Afghanistan Region (PAR).
Manage procurement initiatives and projects in Pakistan & Afghanistan Region (PAR), while supporting MENA Business Unit and EMEA Group Procurement strategies.
Lead RFPs, Negotiations and all bidding exercises where possible across Marketing (DME), Opex and Capex areas, and support internal stakeholders for their requirements.
Responsible for appointment of vendors and agencies while ensuring compliance with Company’s Purchasing Policy and Payment terms.
Engage internal stakeholders and budget holders in strategic procurement strategies to maximize efficiencies and ROI from the investment.
Drive governance and compliance to MENA Purchasing Policy.
Perform Strategic Procurement Category Leadership for assigned categories across MENA Business Unit.
Understanding of Pakistan taxation regarding input/output tax and also ensuring selection of vendors meeting tax requirements.
