A leading development sector organization based in Islamabad is looking for a Senior professional to lead the Monitoring, Evaluation & Research and Environment & Social Management department.
The incumbent shall provide leadership to the monitoring, evaluation and research department, including prioritization of tasks, time management, coordinating various activities, preparing budgets and staff appraisal. He/she shall be required to carry out strategic & operational planning, management of staff, contracts & budgets for programs, projects and components. The incumbent shall develop the Monitoring, Evaluation & Research tools and system of organization in accordance with the principles set forth in the operations manual and suggest improvements. The role also requires providing guidelines to partner organizations for evaluation, research and development and wherever required, advise on fulfilling these guidelines. The responsibilities include appraising prospective partner organizations with respect to reporting and management information system. The job requires to develop and manage MoU’s & ToR’s and ensure relationship management with third party assessments, partnerships with academia and consultants for research and assessment of projects. The incumbent shall prepare department’s work plans and ensure compliance.
The job incumbent will also be organization’s focal oerson for of Environmental Social Management Framework (ESMF) in order to ensure appropriate environmentensure appm protocols for Partner Organizations. He/she shall oversee the Environment & Social Management onent & Social imunities through direct interaction as well as through the operational units and partner organizinnal units and parwill also be required to develop environmental initiatives and ensure integration of environmental rre integration of enjrs in organization’s MIS.
The candidate should at least hav”ld at leisters in Scition or Masters in Social Sciences and relevant disciplines / Project Management/Masters in Busimation fromenblic A/ Masters in Public Administration from a HEC recognized institution. The candidate should have with a large-scalyears of relevant experience with a large-scale foreign donor-funded development project will He/she shall har in team management role. He/she shall have experience in project management and bronrtment. An idearecast budget for the department. An ideal candidate should have a collaborative mannmg with excellent legate tasks in the team along with excellent leadership and coaching skills. He/she must bnai roial skills. The rolcrong analytical and interpersonal skills. The role requires to be a strategic thinker and a result-on’ing skills at all Ivvith good decision making and problem-solving skills at all levels. The incumbent should have excre expnage n and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage professional relationships efficiently and effetabety Must possess presentation and time management skills to multi-task in a fast-paced environment under pressure situations. Proficiency in MS Office Suite is a must. Willing to travel extensively in field across Pakistan.
