FPW SS 2019 Day 3 All Designers Showcasing Collection 2019
Karachi: Culminating the three-day event, Fashion Pakistan Week Springtime/ Summer time 2019 came to a detailed with seven designers showcasing their selections on Day 3. On screen (on Thursday night) were Nomi Ansari, Huma Adnan, Amir Adnan, Saira Shakira, Zainab Chottani, The PinkTree Company and Tena Durrani.
Developing a dynamic mixture of vibrant bridals and heavily-embellished formals, your day was big on showcasing quintessential ensembles which were less experimental and more centered on catering with their individual clientele likes. With this sense, although some stood out for his or her craft, others continued to be underwhelming at best.
To the choices…
The king of colours is seldom a miss along with his collections and Nomi Ansari’s Kaleidoscope was no different. Getting a pulsating color palette of shiny oranges, pinks, blues and yellows to the runway, the display brought forward a mix of interesting colour combinations over the type of silhouettes Nomi does best.
It served as the perfect opener to your day and you can show whoever would be showcasing next could have a hard time keeping the power as high.
Presenting a bridal collection that performed around the thought of a monsoon wedding, Huma Adnan’s screen of shimmery lehngas in ivories and whites blended with a subtle color palette of purples, reds and pinks brought a brand new perspective to the collection. However, while this is one of the better shows by the developer, it needed a little of editing before it was sent out on the runway. Some items could definitely took out.
Sticking with what he’s most known and celebrated for, Amir Adnan thought we would display a fascinating mixture of layering through his sherwanis, waist jackets and groomswear for his collection, All full day I Dream. Although it brought ahead a display where Amir shined with making new designs for younger men at heart, one desires there’s more freshness in the designs. It appeared like the developer was securing to the quintessential Amir Adnan man while looking to the younger one.
Bringing forward an array of silhouettes and slashes that used geometric and linear embroideries and organic motifs with Euphoria, Saira Shakira attempted tinkering with their screen and arrived successful – somewhat. As the addition of crisp golds with their already personal use of metallic blues was interesting, some of the constructions and slashes could definitely have been subtracted from the screen.
If there’s one couturier who designs more with her customers at heart than making series that reinvent her cosmetic, it’s Zainab Chottani – which FPW, it was of course, no real surprise when she trapped to her cosmetic. Showing a palette of reds, powder silvers and pinks, LaFee was largely for individuals who like what the designer does. For anybody else, it was an underwhelming collection. However, the actual ensembles couldn’t do, the finale few – Asim Azhar and Hania Aamir – do with the look of them.
The PinkTree Company
Taking inspiration from age-old Subcontinental customs of the mayoon and mehndi, The PinkTree Company brought forward a collection that flawlessly displayed a splash of popping yellows, greens and pinks as the models sashayed down the runway with dholki tunes playing in the milieu. Out came an array of silhouettes that one may take motivation from, and along with it, arrived showstoppers like Aliya Iqbal and Sonya Hussyn who put into the magic of the show. While sticking with their origins and their ideology, it was the brand’s love for art that managed to get one of the crowd’s favourites of your day. This will have been the finale of your day.
Closing Day 3 with a grand finale, Tena Durrani showcased her collection Nur, which centered on showing a palette of silvers, golds, peaches and light blues that interpret the idea of eternal light. Although the idea performed to the advantages of the developer, it was hardly anything new from what we’ve seen the couturier design before. If anything, it reminded one of all previous selections by the developer and made one wish that Durrani experienced taken a little of the risk these times.
