Whale Returns A Woman’s Phone After She Accidentally Drops It In The water
A couple of weeks ago, a mysterious visitor appeared in the open waters around Hammerfest, Norway — a beluga whale fitted with a harness.
Little is known for certain about the whale’s origins, but it’s suspected that he was trained by the Russian navy, from which he’d apparently defected. Since then, freed from the harness, he’s continued to linger nearby.
Recently, however, something was discovered about the whale’s personality: He’s actually quite considerate!
This is the cutest and the smartest thing on the internet right now. A woman had dropped her phone in the water at Hammerfest Harbour in Norway on Monday. And you know how clumsy, we women can get sometimes, but who could imagine getting a phone back after losing it in open water?
A beluga whale reportedly returned the phone to Isa Opdahl, who was on the boat, with her friends. The video has gone viral. You can see in the video how the whale brings her phone back and how she takes the handset out of the mouth. The whale was in a harness that appeared to be Russian, speculations led to the fact that she might have escaped from their military facility.
If only humans cared as much as these cute little animals, the world would be an easier place to live in.
