We are looking for a high caliber professional for following position based at our office in Islamabad.
Head of Support Services
The position reports to the Chief Executive of the organization. He/she will lead Procurement, Human Resource and Administration functions of the organization and will provide strategic leadership and guidance to these functions aligned with organizational objectives. The incumbent will devise strategy for monitoring progress and achievement of these functions. The role requires ensuring compliance of regulatory framework to reinforce the internal control environment. The incumbent will be mainly responsible for compliance of procurement activities with Donor / PPRA/ organizational rules, regulations and policies to further strengthen the procurement management system.
The person will be also be required to ensure effective delivery of procurement services and management of procurement plans. He/she shall be responsible to strengthen procurement capacity of partner and community organizations. The incumbent will also look after the overall Administration affairs of the organization and ensure coordination with other departments to streamline the admin related issues. In addition, the incumbent will oversee the Human Resource function of the organization and reinforce Policy framework to promote value addition I innovation by employees to achieve PPAF objectives.
The ideal candidate should have master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management Sciences, Social Sciences or other relevant discipline from a HEC recognized national or international university. Aminimum 12 years of relevant work experience with 5 years in senior management role in a national/international development sector organization is required. The role entails thorough knowledge of procurement principles and procedures. He/she shall have strong leadership, interpersonal and communications skills. High level of integrity and dependability is essential for this position. The person should be a team player with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with demonstrated success in management of teams in complex and demanding environments. The incumbent should be a system thinker, goal driven, innovative and action oriented individual and willing to travel in the field across the country.
