IESC0 is a Public Limited Company mandated under its License to provide electricity to its valuable customers. Applications are invited for recruitment of suitable candidates to fill the following positions on one year contract basis. All the quotas such as Provincial, FATA/GB, AJK, Women, Disable, Minority and 20% Employee’s Children Quota etc. will be observed as per Government Policy where applicable.

Applicants are advised to read the following instructions carefully before filling the relevant prescribed application form available on the NTS website with this advertisement.
INSTRUCTIONS & GENERAL CONDITIONS
i. Candidates applying on relevant application form for the post available on NTS website will only be considered for short-listing.
ii. General age relaxation has already been included in the age mentioned against each category. No further age relaxation is allowed in the prescribed age limit except candidates belonging to scheduled castes, Budhist, FATA/GB and AJK are allowed 3 years and for Disable person 10 years relaxation in upper age limit.
iii. Government Servants are advised to apply through proper channel. 10 years age relaxation upto the age of 55 years is allowed who have completed two (2) years continuous Govt, sen/ice on the closing date of application.
iv. Provincial/ Regional (FATA/GB, AJK) quotas will be observed for the post of Jr. Engineer (BPS-17).
v. Candidates who don’t have PEC Registration are not eligible to apply for the post of Jr. Engineer.
vi. Shortlisted Candidates for the post of Jr. Engineer will appear for interview alongwith verified degree of BE / BSc (Electrical / Electronics) from HEC.
vii. Dismissed employees of any organization or having criminal record are not eligible for employment in IESCO.
viii. Candidates applying against Disable quota must attach Disability Certificate from Government’s Assessment Board for the Disable persons from City / District / Provincial Council for Rehabilitation of Disable Persons.
ix. Candidates awaiting their result are not eligible to apply.
x. Only those candidates who have completed their requisite Degree are eligible to apply. Candidates to whom final transcript has not been issued shall not be considered.
xi. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test / interview.
xii. No TA/DA will be allowed to candidates for test or interview.
xiii. Posts of Bill Distributor (BPS-7) and Assistant Linemen (ALM) (BPS-5) are reserved for suitable candidates having domicile / residing in the districts under the jurisdiction of IESCO i.e. Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum & Chakwal.
xiv. Applicants belonging to Tehsils Murree, Pind Dadan Khan and Sara-e-Alamgir (only residing under the jurisdiction of IESCO Operation Sub Division Sara-e-Alamgir) can also apply and will be entertained under IESCO (Opr) Circle Islamabad, Chakwal, and Jhelum respectively.
xv. 20% Quota for the posts of Bill Distributor (BPS-7) and Assistant Linemen (ALM) (BPS-5) is reserved for IESCO Employee’s Children who can apply on relevant application form for the post available on NTS website and will be considered as per policy / guideline/ order of merit of Employee’s Children Quota.
xvi. Children of only IESCO employees who died after retirement, retired and serving are eligible to apply.
xvii. Affidavit duly countersigned by the Head of Employee’s Office where served/serving that no other child of the employee under Employee’s Children Quota is working in IESCO.
xviii. Affidavit (by Ex-Employee / applicant (in case of death of parents) duly countersigned by Notary Public by giving details of entire family of the employee mentioning their employment status that no other brother / sister has been appointed under Employee’s Children Quota in IESCO.
xix. The recruitment for the post of ALM will initially go through screening of Physical Parameters, those fulfilling Physical Parameters will undergo Skill Test and those who qualify Skill Test by securing minimum 50% marks will be called for Physical Endurance Test. Finally those who qualified the Physical Endurance Test by securing minimum 50% marks will be called for final interview as per short listing criteria.
xx. Candidates with any physical disability will not be considered for the post of ALM.
xxi. ALM will be initially recruited/ appointed in BPS- 5 on one year contract basis.
xxii. Original and one set of attested photocopies of the documents must be presented by the candidates at the time of interview.
xxiii. Candidates may contact NTS on 051-8444441 and website www.nts.orq.pk for any query / enquiry /complaint regarding written test, display of provisional and final list of candidates, roll number slips, test centers, result etc.
xxiv. IESCO reserves the right to cap the recruitment process at any time without assigning any reason.
HOW TO APPLY
i. Please visit NTS website www.nts.org.pk for application forms and other information.
ii. Test fee for the post of Jr. Engineer (BPS-17) & Bill Distributor (BPS-07) is Rs. 300/- and for the post of ALM (BPS-05) is Rs. 500/-. However, 50% of the Test fee to be bome by the candidates and 50% by the IESCO as per instructions/ guidelines of Establishment Division. Accordingly Candidates shall submit application forms dully filled in alongwith prescribed fee i.e. Rs. 150/- for the posts of Jr. Engineer (BPS-17) & Bill Distributor (BPS-7) and Rs. 250/- for the post of Assistant Linemen (ALM) (BPS-5) in favour of NTS. Remaining 50% fee shall be paid by IESCO directly to NTS as per agreement.
