MANAGER / SR. MANAGER (Operations)
To manage the Production operations and Planning & Controlling operations of a unit in a way to achieve production target & quality product in timely manner by optimally utilizing the resources and effectively play a role of change agent in nurturing healthy culture and learning environment for employees. Responsible for technical management, supervision and control of production processes
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum BE in Industrial Engineering from recognized institute
8-10Year experience of handling production operations
Should have Production Planning, Controlling and floor management experience
Background in people management
Qualified trainer will be advantageous
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
Strong Floor Management Skills Machines and Manpower planning Line Balancing
Knowledge of HoshinKanri. Policy development. Ohno Circles & 5S and Visual management Lean Experience in SMED Value Stream Mapping Implementation of Kanban • Handling of Vertical/Horizontal Swim

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
Planning and organizing production schedules Assessing project and resource requirements
Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers To control working loss and ensure that wastages are within tolerable limits Ensure quality production and strict control over rejections
Ensure optimal utilization of resources to yield excellent results in phases of production Develops and maintains lean transformation plan including value stream maps to identify key opportunities to eliminate waste and improve performance based on strategy deployment and business results. Collaborates with leaders to execute Gemba walk process (Managing for Daily Improvement), utilizing and constantly improving the visual management on the floor and in the office areas. Drives all levels of leaders to implement continuous improvement and eliminate flow inhibitors
Coaches and mentors leadership and floor management toward a continuous improvement culture that fosters daily improvement involving all team members.
Supports operations and office group to establish and maintain standard work and continuous flow in all areas, including 5S and visual management.
Drives lean thinking into the office to create enterprise level value stream management including customer interfacing and new product development areas. This includes implementing 5S and standard work in the office and visual management and daily improvements as appropriate.
Assists in Lean Assessment preparation and develops improvement plan based on assessment results. Uses Lean techniques to perform process reviews and establish standardized work procedures.
Creates annual strategy deployment plans with Lean Coordinators, their staff and the top management. Prioritizes improvement opportunities based upon Strategy Deployment and tactical planning objectives such as growth, service, safety, quality, cost, and
