The individuals who fulfill the below-mentioned basic eligibility criteria may apply for the following positions:

Position: Legal Consultants

Basic Eligibility Criteria

Academic / Professional Qualificarion: LLB from a University/Institute recognized by HEC

Experience: Preferably 10 years’ of relevant experience in handling Legal affairs

Age: Up to 50 years

Place of Posting: Lahore & Karachi

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:

• To handle the employment / labor / constitutional petitions related cases & coordinate with legal or relevant department of HR all over Pakistan.

• To coordinate with external counsels to provide the proper feedback in preparation of cases.

• To handle complaints / legal notice received against Bank from aggrieved person and forwarding it to respective regions/legal counsels for settlement disposal or within time to mitigate litigation.

• To coordinate for timely provision of available material/documentary evidence to the respective Regions/ dealing advocated of the assigned region to liaison with counsels who are dealing with cases on behalf of the bank in connection to compliance of court directions as and when required.

• To attend courts i.e. Labor courts, NIRC and Mohtasib etc. on hearing of critical nature of cases (when or if directed). Vigorous follow ups from Regions/Advocates for timely provisioning of monthly status and progress reports HR related court cases and maintaining MIS of HR cases under process work and other responsibility assigned by Management on time to time basis.

Position: Legal Associates

Basic Eligibility Criteria

Academic / Professional Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a University/Institute recognized by HEC.

Experience: Preferably 03 years’ for Officer Grade of relevant experience in handling Legal affairs.

Age: Up to 50 years

Place of Posting: Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Multan, Faisalabad, Abbottabad, Islamabad and Peshawar

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:

• To handle the employment / labor / constitutional petitions related cases & coordinate with legal or relevant department of HR all over Pakistan.

• To coordinate with external counsels to provide the proper feedback in preparation of cases.

Basic Eligibility Criteria

Academic / Professional Qualification: Master’s Degree in Commerce /Business Administration or other related qualification from a University/Institute recognized by HEC.

Experience: Preferably 10 years’ of relevant experience in handling administration of Legal department.

Age: Up to 50 years

Place of Posting: Karachi

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:

• To manage the Bank’s Panel List of advocate, including processing for induction and removal of the advocates from the list.

• To coordinate with HR Management Group for the staff related queries and necessary reporting.

• To coordinate with SBP Inspection Teams, Internal Audit & External Audit for their queries for annual audit.

• To process professional fee and other misc. expenses related to litigation of HR Legal Division.

• To oversee MIS related to HR and prepare relevant presentations for Board HR Committee and Board of Directors._

The employment will be on contractual basis, for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Bank’s Policy / rules.
