PNF’s elite netball development program for girls conclude

KARACHI: The Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) organised a month-long Elite Netball Development Programme for girls at the PSB Coaching Centre from July 1-29 in order to enhance the skills, techniques, basic coaching and physical fitness of the players. Nearly 50 girls participated in the programme.

Zaniab Shujat secured first position (7.7 level) while Shezeen Fatima (7.5 level) and Zaniab Raheel (7.4 level) secured second and third position, respectively.

Yumna Sultani was also nominated as the best player of the programme.

The girls who qualified for the next level of the programme include Insia Fazal (7.3), Momal khursheed (6.8), Zara Tahir (6.7), Nisha Sultan (6.5), Tahira (6.3 ), Zara Zahid (6.1), Nimra Khalid (6.1), Aaina Amir (5.8), Laiba Zulfiqar (5.6), Mahreen Sagar (5.3), Iqra (5.3), Yumna Sultani (4.7 ), Faryal (4.5), Isha Saad (4.5), Deena Zahid (4.2), Aamna (4.2),Farheen (3.9), MaheenAleem (3.6) , Laiba Lashri (3.4) and Benazir Lashri (2.8).

Mudassar Arain, president of the Pakistan Netball Federation, was the chief guest at the closing ceremony and distributed prizes among the players.
