PCRWR Bottled Mineral Water as Unsafe for Human Consumption

Pakistan Council of analysis in Water Resources (PCRWR) in its latest reports for April-June 2019 has declared four brands of bottled drinking water as unsafe for human consumption.

According to the reports, a complete of seventy seven brands were sampled out of that four were declared with chemicals unsafe. Out of those four, Super Natural and Taj Pure water were found to possess an excessive amount of metal.

Whereas Classic and and KLINZ were found to possess a lower pH than the quality limit. Reports any claim that the excessive metal in two of the brand’s water will cause high blood pressure whereas a coffee pH can cause acidity.

The seventy seven botted samples were taken from capital of Pakistan, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Tando Jam, Multan, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Sialkot, and Peshawar. PCRWR has been selected the task of quality observation from the ministry since 2005.
