PU declares BCom part-l, II results

LAHORE: The Punjab University examinations department has declared the results of Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) part-l and II annual examinations 2019.
As many as 22,086 candidates appeared in B.Com (part-l) and out of them 8,311 passed the examination and the pass percentage stood at 37.63.
As many as 12,032 boys and 10,054 girls appeared in the examination and 3,634 and 4,677, respectively got through. The pass percentage of boys remained 30.2pc and girls’ 46.52pc.
As many as 19,011 students appeared in B.Com (part-ll) annual examination out of whom 7,660 passed the exam, posting 40.29 pass percentage.
As per break-up, 9,479 boys and 9,532 girls appeared in the examination and 3,167 and 4,493, respectively got through.
Boys pass percentage is 33.41 and girls’ 47.14.
Meanwhile, the PU has issued time-scale promotion orders of some 1,434 employees from BS 1 to 15, who are working in various departments.
According to a notification, the employees in BS-1 to 4 are granted time-scale promotions into next pay scales four times in the whole service instead of two times on satisfactory completion of 8,16, 24 and 30 years service from the date of regular appointment.
The employees in BS-5 to 15 are granted promotion into next pay scale. Employees of technical cadre posts up-gradation structure is already in practice and less than four scale up-gradation have been granted.
They will be granted time-scale promotion as per their category after their final/last up-gradation in their cadre/structure, subject to the condition that maximum of four promotion/ up-gradation will be permissible in the entire service.
